As a member of Velliv Foreningen (The Velliv Association), you now have the possibility to influence our bonuses to you as a member, how we promote mental health in Denmark, as well as your pension company, Velliv, which is fully owned by the customers. View the candidates and vote below.

As a member of Velliv Foreningen, you now have the possibility to vote in the election for the Board of Representatives from Eastern Denmark from 25 February until 9 March 2020. All members of Velliv Foreningen living east of the Great Belt have the opportunity to vote. You are automatically a member of the association if you are a customer of the pension company Velliv, of which the association owns 100% stake.

Your vote counts! The Board of Representatives decides how Velliv Foreningen’s financial surplus is distributed. The financial surplus goes to a cash bonus to the members and charitable activities that promote mental health in Denmark.

  • Who can vote in the election?

    All members of Velliv Foreningen can vote in the election in their respective region of residence. As a pension/insurance customer at Velliv, you automatically become a member of Velliv Foreningen. Members living outside of Denmark will be able to vote for candidates registered in the Capital Region of Denmark.

  • How does my vote count?

    When voting in Velliv Foreningen’s elections, you will influence our membership bonuses, how we promote mental health in Denmark, as well as your pension company Velliv, which is fully owned by the customers. 

  • Who can I vote for?

    In the election period you can vote for the candidates running in your region. Candidates are members that have fulfilled the candidate criteria. Members living outside of Denmark will be able to vote for candidates in the Capital Region of Denmark.

  • How do I vote in the election?

    As a member of Velliv Foreningen (formerly Nordea Life & Pension), you will receive information on how to vote for the election when the election starts. You can vote in three different ways:

    - If you have received your letter in e-Boks, you can vote via a link in the letter

    - If you have received your letter by mail, you can vote digitally on our website with a voting code and your date of birth

    - If you have received your letter by mail, you can vote by using the enclosed ballot

    Deloitte Statsautoriseret Revisionspartnerselskab will be monitoring the count and all votes need to be in their possession by 9 March 2020 at 23.59. 

  • When and how often is the election?

    At this moment you have the possibility to vote in the election for Velliv Foreningen’s Board of Representatives from Eastern Denmark. You can vote from 25 February until 9 March 2020.

    The association is divided into five regions under the same geography as the regions of the Ministry of the Interior. The election of the Board of Representatives takes place every two years alternately in the regions east of the Great Belt (the Capital Region of Denmark and Zealand) and west of the Great Belt (the Regions of Southern Denmark, Central Jutland, and Northern Denmark). This means that the election takes place in your region every four years.

  • How many representatives are there on the board?

    There are approximately 50 representatives on the board, distributed according to the size of the regions. The representatives elect the board of directors and act as the final decision making body on many central decisions.

    As from the 2020 election in the regions east of the Great Belt (the Capital Region of Denmark and Zealand), the number of representatives on the board will be distributed as follows:

    • Capital Region of Denmark: 17 representatives
    • Region Zealand: 7 representatives
    • The Region of Southern Denmark: 10 representatives
    • Central Denmark Region: 12 representatives
    • Northern Denmark Region: 4 representatives

    The number of representatives to be elected in each region is based on the distribution of members on 1 November the year before the election year.
